HP TouchSmart 600-1350 All-in-One Desktop PC |
Without a doubt, this is one of the best investments I've made in a PC in a very long time. This HP All-In-One has both great power, a brilliant display, and that wow factor sure to make the Joneses want to keep up with you. In a nutshell, here's why you won't regret buying this desktop.
1) Touchscreen. As a former employee of now defunct retail chain, I've played around with a couple of this desktop's predecessors. They were fun for a while but not practical because the operating system and desktop icons weren't quite made to make full use of a touchscreen. The same thing is true with windows 7 but HP's TouchSmart software make it more intuitive to handle movies, music, and other features from a center that's easier to use with a touchscreen than a mouse... think of a 23 inch iPad.
2) Space. Lots of it. LOOOOTS of it. And I don't just mean the 1 Terabyte hard drive. I also mean the fantastic amount of space on my desk because I don't need a tower. The tower and monitor are the same thing; it means I get to fill it up with tons more unnecessary junk.
3) Software Package. There is enough productivity software installed (and online) to make sure that the average consumer will be more than functional. Also, the installed Norton Anti-virus is comprehensive without being intrusive so I don't notice any slowness in system operation while I operate it.
But I don't recommend it for high technical users who upgrade their computers to no end, nor do I recommend it for users who only have a computer for email. If you need a wild beast of a machine that handles Call of Duty 73 on its highest settings, don't get this. You can still run most games on moderate settings and enjoy it. Moreover, the power and functionality in this machine are simply too much for mere casual, intermittent use. This desktop is designed to both augment the computer experience as well as be practical. If you're ready to be blown away by this sleek machine, then shuffle over to checkout, put in your payment information, and prepare for the Best. All-In-One. Ever.
