Nokia C6-01 Unlocked GSM Phone

Unlocked GSM Phone with 8 MP Camera, 720p Video Recording, and Ovi Maps Navigation U.S. Version

If you a looking for a mini smartphone with every feature you may ever need, I recommend this one.

Pros:
1) This phone is rated #1 in eco-friendliness. Made with 100% recycled materials.
2) Real metal casing. Not "plastic-metal" like Samsung or HTC phones. This makes me LOVE holding my phone in my hand.
3) Small and compact. Smaller than iPhone and almost all HTC devcices.
3) Best loud speaker out of ALL phones. (Nokia is famous in this area)
4) 8MP camera (suck on this iPhone) + dual LED flash light. (Bonus: there's a free flashlight app to turn this light on as a flashlight when u're in the dark) Video record HD at 720p resolution. BEAUTIFUL!
5) 3.5mm aux jack. Lots of handy advantages with this. One of my favorite is that I use this jack to connect it to my Stereo Head Unit in my car. And I can talk with my friend through the car's speaker while driving... HANDS-FREE!
6) Facebook + Twitter integrated. The widget on homescreen is very neat. It cycles through the top 20 most-recent posts on Facebook right on the homescreen!
7) Flash supported. Download supported. Yes, you can download MP3 or AVI movies through Wi-Fi directly to your phone. (SUCK ON THIS iPHONE!)
8) Battery life is amazing. Last me more than 2 days. 3 if I don't surf the internet or listen to loudspeaker music

Cons:
Symbian^3 operating system is the main thing to complain about here. NOT very user-friendly.
1) Web browser is ridiculous. No back button, no refresh button. Very cumbersome.
2) No push notifications. Have to manually access and update everything including emails.
3) Lack of apps. BIG TIME! NO BankofAmerica app, NO Amazon app, NO weather app.
4) Nokia OVI suite (Music sync. in particular) is hard to use. Very frustrated to add new music. Fortunately, I use Windows Media Player to compensate this issue and it turns out great!

GOOD NEWS: Nokia is aware of their imperfect Operating System Symbian^3. They signed a partnership contract with Microsoft back in Feb '11 and are now working together to make a hybrid device Nokia hardware + Microsoft software. Basically, Symbian^3 will soon be replaced with the infamous Microsoft Windows Phone 7. The 2 companies are expecting their project completion to be in late 2011. I can't wait for this big update!

Despite the few software cons, this phone is so deserve a 5*. Love it and did not regret buying it any single bit!
